Dearneside Leisure Centre
At Dearneside Leisure Centre you can enjoy various sports in our multi-use sports hall including badminton and football. Dearneside Leisure Centre also hosts fitness classes like aquacise and aerobics.
There is also a gymnastics club for youngsters to join in and make new friends. The friendly atmosphere ensures that all levels of abilities are welcome.
The sports hall at Dearneside Leisure Centre is available for private hire for all manner of events, competitions and activities, simply speak to one of our friendly members of staff for details regarding a private booking.
Dearneside Leisure Centre now has a 50 piece, air conditioned fitness suite fitted with Pulse gym equipment.
The 25m swimming pool at Dearneside Leisure Centre hosts swimming lessons a number of swimming events including:
- Rookie Lifeguard coaching
- Little Nippers
- Parent and Toddlers swimming classes
- Ladies only swims
- Leisure swims
