We manage and operate a diverse portfolio of facilities from small community recreation centres and civic halls to large regional facilities such as the Metrodome Leisure Complex in central Barnsley.

We provide a huge number of traditional sporting opportunities, from fitness suites to badminton, as well as catering for a broad range of leisure pursuits and popular culture that includes comedy nights and concerts.

We provide an excellent facilities management (FM) service for all sporting and cultural facilities and are always happy to discuss this service with potential partners, whether it is for one site or a group of facilities you are considering management options for.  This may include school sport facilities. leisure centres, civic halls, museums, libraries, and event and conference facilities.

Barnsley Premier Leisure (BPL) is a charitable company limited by guarantee.  We are a registered charity, established in 1999 to provide sporting and leisure opportunities for local communities.  As we are a genuine not-for-profit, social enterprise, any surplus we generate is re-invested into the facilities and services we provide.
