A range of pool-based group exercise classes take place in the pool. Classes are available on a Pay & Play basis for non-members or free to Fitness Flex members.
An aerobic and toning workout to music in the pool. The water supports your body's weight making the class moderate intensity. Aquacise is less impactive on your joints and muscles and uses the water pressure to increase the effectiveness of your movements. The water reduces demand on the heart during exercise due to hydrostatic pressure. Workouts can include jumping jacks, cross-country skiing motion and walking and running backwards and forwards.
