Barnsley Football Club's Goalkeeper Coach Mark Crossley and Goalkeeper Christian Dibble enjoyed a tour of the newly upgraded Fitness Flex gym located at Hoyland Leisure Centre.
The fitness suite has benefitted from the investment of brand new state-of-the-art Pulse gym kit, including interactive Series 3 consoles, following the first UK installation of the machines at the Metrodome back in August.
New cardiovascular, resistance and plate loaded equipment has all been added to the fitness suite and the upgrade has been complemented by the development of improved changing facilities and a comfortable members' lounge area on the upper floor of the venue.
Simon Potter, Facility Manager and Melvyn Wood, Leisure Supervisor welcomed the Barnsley Football Club representatives onto site and showed them round the new areas and extended gym. Both were very impressed with the improvements to the facility. "The newly upgraded Fitness Flex Hoyland is a great asset to the community and will hopefully encourage more people to take up exercise for their health" said Mark.
Christian and his Barnsley teammates can often be seen using the facilities at the Metrodome. He said "it's great to see BPL investing into their facilities so they can offer the latest technology to their customers".
